Support Mac’s Emergency Dental Surgery

Help a girl get back on her feet! I’m raising money for Mac, a Chicago transwoman who needs the support of her Community.

Mac has to undergo an emergency dental surgery that comes out to 3900. Her dental insurance should cover up to 2000, with the possibility of other unforeseen costs. That still leaves 1900 minimum in dental surgery costs.

She is missing several shifts at her position as a receptionist to get and recover from the surgery. Her work has her slotted as an independent contractor and she receives no paid-sick-leave. She’s projected to lose over 600 dollars in funds from missing work.

So, we’re hoping to raise another 1600 to cover living costs, transportation, supplies, medicine, and to recoup funds from missed work shifts.

She has been living paycheck to paycheck and just got a place of her own for the first time in several years. She deserves to recover from this with support from her community. Please help me in raising funds for her.
